Motorola Unveils Motorola One at the IFA 2018 (Full Specs and Features)

The tech event in Berlin, IFA 2018 stood as a platform where most of the tech giants unveiled their products. We recently saw the LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit that was announced by LG. Now, Motorola has taken turns to unveil Motorola One and Motorola One Power as its Android one revelations.

For the sake of this article, however, we’ll be focusing on the Motorola One. So, let’s see in the review what there is to know about this particular Android One phone.

Motorola One Quick Review

Top notch, top notch, top notch… I don’t think the trend is going to go off anytime soon. Motorola One joins the league of smartphones that possess the top notch. Beneath the top notch, an interesting bezel-less design rules most part of the phone’s fore leaving a chin to accommodate the motorola emblem. As most Motorola phones so far have the Batwing-like logo at the back, this phone isn’t exempted. The batwing’s other function is the role of a fingerprint scanner.

You’ll find it cool that the device comes with splash resistance, so you can say it’s water resistant to an extent but not the IP68 type though. Movies with 720p resolution are well relayed on the 5.9 inches IPS LCD screen thanks to its HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

Android 8.1 Oreo OS is the software running on the device. Even more, it’s under the umbrella of Android One for a very smooth Android experience on the device. Motorola gives its word that the phone will receive Android 9.0 Pie in due season. Thanks to the Android One aboard, we can say the update actually holds water.

Files can be stored on the 64GB internal storage with expansion capacity of 256GB with the aid of a MicroSD card. Meanwhile, a 4GB RAM teams up with the Snapdragon 625 SoC to handle the phone’s performance.
