ntel network comes with various data plans which I’ve already covered in this post on Naijaknowhow, you can choose your desired plan depending on your data consumption habits.

Ensure your phone has a Flexible Division Duplex (FDD) with support for LTE 3 (1800MHz) and 8 (900MHz) spectrum bands. You can always get these details on the product packaging or documentation of your phone. Source: MobilityArena.

That said, let delve right back into what brought you here.

Sometimes, you might need to set up your internet settings manually, doing this isn’t rocket science. In this article, I will guide you through the steps. You’d be able to set this up manually on your smartphone, modem, MiFi devices and other internet-enabled devices that require it.

Please contact your network provider or check if your phone supports voice over 4G LTE, if it does, please activate it to allow calls be made while using data.

You have to configure your connection manager with the correct APN. Set APN to ‘vox’.

Ensure that an ntel SIM is inserted in the phone
      Go to settings
      then More (in some phones)
      Mobile Networks
      Preferred Network Type
Select 4G only or LTE only
      Go back
      Click on Access Point Names
      Click on the ‘+’ sign
      Set name to ‘vox’
      Set APN to ‘vox’
Click on the options and select save
Set the APN as the default/functional APN

TAKE NOTE: IT WORKS ON 4G ONLY MODE!

Which APN did you use? ‘vox’ is the new APN and not ‘ntel’. Please check your settings

You have to know that not all 4G LTE phones are compatible with NTEL network, so kindly visit NTEL website to view list of compatible device.
