With the whole rebranding from Etisalat to 9mobile, I realised some aren’t getting this setting sent to their device automatically. You could eventually fall among the unfortunate few who didn’t get these configs.

  • Type and send SETTINGS to 790.

Or simply use the manual configuration settings below;

Manual 9mobile APN

  • Profile/ Access Point Name: 9mobile
  • APN/Access Point: 9mobile
  • Username/Login: (blank)
  • Password: (blank)
  • IP/Proxy:
  • Port: 8080

  1. It’s not working…. I’ve tried everything… seriously everything…. from creating apn automatically and manually, resetting my phone, clear data cache…. like what’s wrong….. and now it’s not even working… just saying emergency calls all day….. I’ve tried changing it to 2g,3g…it’s not working please I need help

    • That’s a normal thing, if you haven’t used your line for a certain period of time, they’ll deactivate the line and probably assign the number to another person. Now that we have NIN linkage mandatory, I’m not sure if that would still be a thing.
