Many smartphone manufacturers from China have entered the tablet business and one of them is Huawei, which has been around for a long time releasing Android tablets and will now switch to HarmonyOS.
But recently, a well-known leaker from Weibo, Digital Chat Station, reported that there will be another company from China that will enter the tablet business, and that is OPPO.
Although not mentioning OPPO directly, Digital Chat Station said that the ‘green’ company is preparing a new tablet that comes with a size of 12.6 inches.
“Green Company has a tablet that does not seem to be positioned low,” wrote the Digital Chat Station on its official Weibo account.
This makes this tablet more or less similar to a tablet made by Huawei, namely the MatePad Pro 12.6. It is even stated that the front camera position of the tablet is the same as that of the Huawei tablet.
However, because the device will be made by OPPO, this tablet will run the Android-based ColorOS operating system which is said to come with customisation that makes it more suitable for tablet devices with a larger size.
Unfortunately, there is no information regarding specifications and availability. Let’s just wait for official information from OPPO regarding their first tablet!
