Realme 5 Arrives With Quad Cameras & 20:9 Aspect Ratio

BBK Electronics subsidiary, Realme introduces yet another interesting smartphone with features that’ll make a chic’s head turn. The mobile phone bounces off the production room with quad cameras, a large display and aspect ratio for your immersive entertainment. Realme 5 becomes the second smartphone to ever don the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, an 11nm chipset; the first being Xiaomi Mi A3.

Realme 5 Features (Preview)

In terms of aesthetics, the Realme 5 displays the remarkable design prowess of Realme. The smartphone’s rear expresses a glossy finish together with the quartet of cameras and a fingerprint scanner. Realme logo is also seen at the smartphone’s base.

Up front, the 6.5-inch IPS touchscreen serves as the display entity of the device. It dons an aspect ratio of 20:9 to provide a substantial smartphone estate. More so, it works smoothly with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Protective functions are disseminated by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the phone’s display.

Photographic sensors on the device are five in total – four at the back and one upfront. The rear cameras comprises of the 12MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP dedicated macro camera. Meanwhile, a 13MP camera sits in the notch cutout for selfies and Facial ID functions.

Moving on to the internals, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. The chip is based on the 11nm process node and the 64-bit architecture. Within it, there’s the octa-core Kryo CPU that clocks at 2.0GHz speed. And Adreno 610 GPU handles the graphics dealings on the device.

Memory-wise, there are two variants of the smartphone – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM editions. The former’s ROM counterpart is a 32GB internal storage while the latter comes with 64GB & 128GB space for storing different forms of files. Even at that, there’s enough space for 256GB MicroSD card to fit into the smartphone.

The latest Android 9.0 Pie OS is what handles software operations on the smartphone. A mammoth 5,000mAh battery is the powerhouse of this smartphone. It makes use of the Fast Charge 10W to charge at incredible speed.
