Realme U1: First Android Smartphone Using the Mediatek Helio P70 Chipset

Realme has a new hero who is ready to re-enliven competition in the Android smartphone market. Called Realme U1, this is Realme’s first device that focuses on the selfie camera sector.

Realme U1 is a smartphone with a 6.3-inch IPS screen that has Full HD + resolution. At first glance, when viewed from the front of this smartphone it is similar to Realme 2 Pro which was first released some time ago.

The front of this device is dominated by a screen with a screen-to-body ratio reaching 90.8 percent. The bezel around it is very thin (click to see best bezel-less smartphones). On the upper side only 2.05mm thick, while on the side only 1.7mm.

As the first Realme smartphone that emphasizes selfie capabilities, it is equipped with a 25-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX576 sensor which is claimed to be able to provide good results for shooting with minimal light conditions.

For the rear camera, it offers a dual camera configuration consisting of 13-megapixels + 2-megapixels. As always, the combination of these two cameras is able to produce photos with a bokeh effect.

Even more interesting, Realme U1 is also referred to as the first smartphone to adopt the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. For your information, this chipset is equipped with an octa-core processor and GPU Mali-G72 MP3 promised to run the game smoothly.

According to Realme, thanks to Helio P70 and gaming performance that has been optimized by Realme, the game will run stable at 60fps.
