Realme XT makes history as the first smartphone to be released with a 64MP camera. We have the Redmi Note 8 Pro that was announced as the first smartphone with the same amount of pixels. But the Realme XT is the first to officially hit the market. And it comes with three other cameras at the rear. Mind you, it’s the second smartphone in the Realme X series.

Realme XT Features (Preview)
The Realme XT packs a Super AMOLED screen on top of an attractive glass appearance. The glass, of Corning Gorilla build, is mounted on both sides of the smartphone. The front’s glass is flat while the rear’s glass slightly curves outward. It has a sleek and sturdy design highlighted by its plastic frame that looks like aluminium.
An optical fingerprint sensor serves the touch biometric functions on the smartphone. It is placed under the 6.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen. The display is bright and punchy in colours due to the 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen from shattering when it falls.
Software roles are disseminated by the ColorOS 6 and Android 9.0 Pie OS. There’s Always-On screen feature that can be programmed to certain parts of the day. The phone runs smoothly with the Snapdragon 712 SoC. This chipset houses Octa-core 2.75GHz Kryo CPU and Adreno 616 GPU for graphics actions.
A juicy 4,000mAh battery defines the long term usage on this smartphone. The Fast Charge tech – VOOC 3.0 relays 20W charging power on the device. As a result, the phone refills from 0% to 50% in a half hour. When fully charged, the phone can run for 13 hours browsing the web on Wi-Fi.
Imaging goodness is primarily executed by the 64MP Quad-Bayer sensor. This wide camera amplifies the quality of images by stacking and fusion. The cameras that make up the quad rear cameras are the 8MP ultrawide, 2MP dedicated macro and 2MP depth sensors.
The phone’s selfies are captured prettily by the 16MP front camera. Images and videos, as well as other forms of files, are stored on the 64GB ROM UFS 2.1 of the basic model. The other model has 128GB storage that’s also expandable.
