South Korean smartphone giant, Samsung has been reported to slam its brand ambassador in Russia, Ksenia Sobchak with $1.6 million for publicly making use of iPhone X – a smartphone from a competing brand- rather than Samsung products she ought to promote.

Russian TV presenter who also doubles as a journalist and active politician, Ksenia Sobchak is the face of Samsung in Russia. The contract between this Russian politician is to promote the South Korean brand publicly and avoid been seen with other phone brands.

Well, the TV star was seen during a TV interview with an iPhone X. In fact, she tried concealing the smartphone with a piece of paper but onlookers were smart enough to pick out the beautiful notch-designed Apple iPhone X.
