Samsung might soon introduce its newest folding screen smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip, following the circulation of the device’s video on social media.
Moreover, the ‘first hands-on’ video circulated shortly before the ‘Galaxy Unpacked‘ event that Samsung is scheduled to hold in San Francisco on the 11th February.
The first appearance of the Galaxy Z Flip was sourced from Ben Geskin, a device concept designer, through his recent tweet.
“Samsung Galaxy Z Flip – First hands-on,” according to the video title uploaded by Geskin.
Many speculations circulated before, that Samsung will produce folding screen smartphones at lower prices. Although it is unclear what kind of smartphone Samsung will offer.
Along with the rolling of the news, Samsung also reportedly will release a folding screen smartphone, with vertical folds like the Motorola Razr.
Referring to the rumours, the smartphone in question is likely the Galaxy Z Flip, which has a vertical folding design like a clamshell (clamshell).

From the video circulating, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is shaped like a cosmetic powder box when folded and is seen as a smartphone sailing longer – compared to the screen ratio of most smartphones – when in an open position.
The rear camera (main) Galaxy Z Flip will be on the front cover when the device is folded, with a small screen next to it that displays date information.
The front camera of this smartphone is placed in the middle of the top, with a small circular hole between the screen area to house the camera sensor. The selfie camera is visible when the mobile is not folded.
While the outer design, the Galaxy Z Flip comes in shiny colours (glossy) and what appears so far is the base purple.
Not yet certain whether Samsung will make it in multiple colours or only a few.
