TECNO Camon i2 is a beautiful looking smartphone that just got released by Chinese smartphone maker – TECNO. The smartphone sports the trendy notch design on its bright bezel-less screen, hence its beauty is one to truly behold.

The smartphone was unveiled alongside two other smartphones that bear the notch design. These other smartphones will be looked at in later posts but for now, follow me as we dissect this Camon i2 into pieces.

Given its bezel-less screen and notch design, the phone’s screen-to-body ratio is at a high at 88.16%. Added to this enormous screen estate, there’s the 19:9 aspect ratio that defines the fuller display of the smartphone. A unibody polycarbonate material encapsulates this device to give it a refined appearance.

At the core of this smartphone, MediaTek Helio A22 with 12nm process technology oversees the entire operations on this smartphone. It teams up with a 3GB RAM that helps in smoothening its performance as well as aiding multitasking.

TECNO’s personal OS, HiOS is present on the device although it is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS. Network connectivity on the phone is on the highest level thanks to the 4G LTE with VoLTE on board. Additional network connectivity includes 2G GSM and 3G HSDPA.

A 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture sits in the notch region to capture the quality selfies. A front flash is even present to brighten the scene in low light areas. On the flip side, two cameras (13MP + 2MP) are in place to control the shooting of pictures and recording of videos.

That being said, an internal memory of 32GB saves thousands of files on the phone. It can be increased to a total of 128GB with the aid of a MicroSD card. A powerful 3,750mAh battery which is just 250mAh shy of 4,000mAh is the powerhouse of this large smartphone.
