Chinese smartphone maker TECNO Mobile announced in Thailand a low-end smartphone “TECNO POP 2F” with Android GO Edition.
The TECNO POP 2F is a low-end Android smartphone with a 5.5-inch FWVGA + (960 x 480) display, a CPU MediaTek MT6580 1.3 GHz quad-core, RAM 1 GB, storage capacity 16 GB, and a main camera 8-megapixel camera.
It is a low-cost model, but it supports fingerprint and face authentication. The display has a screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and a flash on the front. The connection port is MicroUSB and the 3.5mm earphone port is available.
It features a low-end or entry-class lightweight operating system “Android GO Edition” with less than 1GB of RAM.
It comes in three distinct colours of gold, black and blue. Will be available mainly in Africa and Asia. The price in Thailand is about 8,000 yen (N26,000 naira in Nigeria).
