UMIDIGI One Pro is the upgraded version of the recently announced UMIDIGI One. This smartphone is also another compact flagship from UMIDIGI that’s exciting.

It’s brightly beautiful as the base smartphone, and also features same features such as 4GB RAM, stock Android 8.1 Oreo OS and 5.9-inch display. However, it supports the wireless charging technology, NFC and other flashy features.

UMIDIGI One Pro Quick Review

UMIDIGI One Pro runs smoothly on MediaTek Helio P23 SoC as the powerhouse. This chipset packs an octa-core 2.0GHz CPU with 64-bit process technology. Moving on, the Mali G71 GPU coordinates the graphics operations on the device to play games such as PUBG Mobile.

Design-wise, there’s no difference between this smartphone and the UMIDIGI One. It has an iconic notch at the top of its bezel-less display. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right side of the device while the SIM slots are located on the left-hand side. Also, this device appears brilliantly in an aluminium alloy body.

UMIDIGI One Pro’s display is a 5.9-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The 287PPI pixel density and the 16 million display colours ensure that the display wellness is top status. Not forgetting that an impressive 19:9 aspect ratio is aboard.

12MP and 5MP sensors are the generals in charge of the phone’s rear photography. They are supported by a dual tone dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama, face detection and autofocus to mention a few. Selfies are taken by a single 16MP shooter at the front.

Connectivity options are wide on the smartphone; there’s the type-C USB, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio. Another feature found on this phone is the NFC which allows easy transfer of files when placed on top of each other. 2G, 3G and 4G LTE with VoLTE represent the network connectivity options of the device.

The battery life gets reduced from 3,550mAh capacity on UMIDIGI One to 3,250mAh capacity on this UMIDIGI One Pro. Not to worry though as this battery charges up quickly due to Fast Charging 18W on the device. Additionally, Wireless Charging technology is also supported on the phone.

As much as 64GB is available on the smartphone for storage of files. 4GB RAM is also present to see to the seamless performance of this smartphone. And yes, the storage can be increased to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
