ZTE is now known as a brand that presents a smartphone with the world’s first under-screen camera technology. Even though the photo quality from the under-screen camera is arguably still very bad.
But this doesn’t seem to make ZTE just give up, it is understood that they are now ready to announce a new smartphone that comes with next-gen under-screen camera technology.
This was indicated directly by the Business Unit President of ZTE, Ni Fei through his Weibo account. Ni Fei said that his party would provide information related to the new under-display camera technology at the MWC Shanghai event later.
Ni Fei also uploaded a photo showing the prototype of his new smartphone which now comes with a newer, under-screen camera technology that is harder to see even up close.
It is also believed that the image quality that the camera can take would be better. It is also known that ZTE still uses cameras made by Visionox, such as the ZTE Axon 20 5G.
But we’ll see if the smartphone referred to by ZTE is an Axon 30 Pro or not. It is also expected that this smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 chipset which provides support for faster image processing.
