Hurray! From this part of the tech universe, I wish you a happy emoji day! Chuckles, that’s on a lighter note. The big deal is Apple is adding more emojis to the iOS platform in celebration of the World Emoji Day.
For the uninitiated, the World Emoji Day is a day assigned to celebrate emojis across the globe with emoji events and products making the spotlight. It occurs every July 17th, and mind you, there’s no holiday whatsoever assigned to the day.
Back to the matter, over 70 emojis that has been revealed by Apple will make it out on Apple devices later this year in a software update. This isn’t the first time Apple releases more emojis on an emoji day; they also released last year.
Some of the emojis released by apple includes: animal emojis (parrot, lobster, kangaroo and peacock), fruit emojis (mango, cupcake, lettuce and mooncake), etc.
