In addition to Google Meet, Google apparently has one more video call service, Google Duo. Initially Google Duo is only made specifically for smartphone users only.
But recently Google introduces new updates which allow the Google Duo service to be used in a web browser, especially for Google Chrome.
It is known that users only need to access the duo.google.com site and log in using Gmail and phone numbers to start video calls. Even users do not need to download the application again.
This web version of Google Duo comes with a variety of interesting features ranging from Family Mode that allows users to add various kinds of effects like Snapchat and many more.
Then the capacity of the video call room on Google Duo was also set to 32 participants. Whereas last month Google just increased the capacity of Google Duo from 8 to 12 participants.
The presence of Google Duo on this web aims to help users who are currently in WFH and Home Learning. In addition, Google certainly wants to try to compete with other video conferencing services such as Zoom.
