The annual conference for developers of WWDC 2019 which was held in San Jose, California, USA, is utilized by Apple to introduce an update to the operating system of their mobile devices, iOS 13, which offers a new look for the iPhone.
“iOS 13 brings new capabilities to the applications you use every day, with updates on Photos and Maps, as well as privacy protection features such as Sign In with Apple. Everything offers faster performance,” said Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Apple, in an official statement uploaded on their website, was quoted on Tuesday (4/6/2019).
iOS 13 promises faster and more responsive performance with optimisation throughout the system to improve applications when launched, reduce application size when downloaded and speed up the work of the Face ID.
The following are the latest features that can be enjoyed on iOS 13
1. Dark Mode
iPhone users can now choose a dark background colour that will be installed throughout the system and the default application on the iPhone. Users will feel comfortable looking at the phone screen while in a dimly lit place.
Apple also provides Dark Mode for the third application, developers can integrate this mode into their applications and can design that Dark Mode can be activated automatically at certain times.
2. Photo
Apple uses machine learning so that the best images that enter the Photo application are above, the system will automatically hide the same or less good photos.
The latest settings in Photos promise convenience for users when they want to find and view photos and videos on the iPhone.
Devices for editing photos on iOS 13 will also apply to video editing.
3. Sign In with Apple
This new service from Apple will make it easier for users to enter the site and application, they can enter the website with an Apple ID account.
Apple guarantees the confidentiality of user data because they will randomly provide an email when the Apple ID is linked to a site.
Users have the option not to provide their personal email addresses and provide random emails from Apple when signing in.
4. Maps
Apple is updating the database for the Maps application so that the map offers up-to-date data on roads, pedestrian paths and other data for navigation purposes.
This latest map will be available in the US by the end of 2019 and other countries by 2020.
