Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has announced the Asus ROG Phone II gaming smartphone with Snapdragon 855 Plus, the highest spec on the current model.
Asus ROG Phone II is a high spec Android smartphone equipped with 6.59-inch FHD + (2340 × 1080) display, latest Snapdragon 855 Plus, an Octa-core chipset that clocks at 2.96 GHz, RAM capacity comes in two variants — 8GB / 12GB, storage capacity is 512GB UFS 3.0 and lastly it’s built with a duo camera setup of 48MP + 13MP.

Features (Quick Review)
It is a successor to the ROG Phone and has evolved into a gaming smartphone with the largest specs of the current model, such as a large screen and equipped with the latest CPU Snapdragon 855 Plus.
It combines a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz that enables smooth screen display, large capacity 6000mAh battery compatible with high-speed charge QC 4.0 and PD, a touch sensor AirTrigger II for games, and an external cooler unit AeroActive Cooler II. It has a specialized three cooling functions when actively playing heavy games.
In addition, as with the previous model, special options such as the ROG Kunai Gamepad, the external cooler unit AeroActive Cooler II, and the dual-display dock TwinView Dock II are also available.
The ROG Phone 2 comes with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus, an Octa-core chipset that clocks at 2.96 GHz, RAM capacity comes in two variants — 8GB / 12GB, storage capacity is 512GB UFS 3.0.
Asus has further advanced this device in the security department by equipping it with the under-display fingerprint technology which differs from last year’s ROG Phone with a fingerprint scanner positioned on the back.
This device has a dual-camera configuration of 48 megapixels (main Sony IMX589 F1.79) + 13 megapixels (wide-angle 125 ° F 2.4) and the same specifications as the ZenFone 6. The front camera is a high 24-megapixel camera.
