Google recently officially announced the presence of its newest operating system, namely Android 12, which was officially present for the first time on the latest Google Pixel 6 Series devices.
But it turns out that Google did not only announce the Android 12, it is also known to have provided a special variant of its new operating system called Android 12L.
The addition of the letter L indicates that this operating system is designed for devices with large screens. So Android 12L itself comes as another version of Android 12 for devices such as tablets, folding smartphones, to laptops.
Google says that the Android 12L will be present starting in 2022 with a beta stage that will open in the near future. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the device model that supports the beta access.
Of course, this is done by Google because there are currently many devices with large screens being presented, one of which is folding smartphones like the latest Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3.
Because it has a different screen size from smartphones in general, Google has decided to bring Android 12L which will later provide special support for large screen devices so as to provide a better experience.
