Google launched Keep, a note writing application including text, list, image or audio since March 20, 2013. Besides being available on the web, Google Keep is also available on smartphones for Android and iOS. This application is important because it can support one’s productivity.

1. Turning Photos Into Notes

Google Keep presents the feature of changing the text in a photo into text note by taking a photo. A lot of people who use this app don’t know it can do a lot more than store notes.

2. Create Reminders

The reminder feature is embedded in the Google Keep application which is divided into two, reminders based on time or location. When you have finished taking notes and paired location reminders, Google Keep will provide a notification when it is close to the location in question. If you set a time reminder, you will be notified when the time comes.

3. Take notes by voice

One of the many features of Google Keep I love is the ability to take notes or listing activities such as shopping list using voice.

4. Group Notes with Labels and Colors

Grouping notes by label can make it easier for you to find the note. Apart from that, you can also group notes by colour. For example notes with a blue background for college or school activities and notes with a red background for a savings list.

5. Transferring Keep Records to Documents

You can send notes in Google Keep to other applications such as Gmail or Drive. That way you can quickly share or move notes without having to copy-paste.

On a computer, go to the keep.google.com site. Then at the top click Create Note. You can already create, edit, organize and archive notes. You can also share notes that were made so that others can see or edit them.
