Chinese manufacturer HONOR (Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology) announced the 6.57-inch smartphone “HONOR 50 (NTH-AN00)” equipped with Snapdragon 778G. Contained below is the full specifications, features and price of this device.
HONOR 50 Features
HONOR 50 is a 6.57 inch FHD + (2340 x 1080) display smartphone that is powered by a Snapdragon 778G 2.4GHz octacore CPU, 8GB / 12GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB storage capacity. It is a mid-range smartphone with 108 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 2 megapixels + 2 megapixels quad camera.
This model features the new Snapdragon 778G SoC, an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The battery capacity is 4300mAh with supports 66W quick charging which can be charged 70% in 20 minutes, the fingerprint authentication sensor is placed under the screen, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack available on this device and it features a USB Type-C connection port.
In addition, the OS is the latest Android 11 (Magic UI 4.2), Google related (GMS) apps are not installed in the model for China, but the global model is preparing for GMS installation and will be released in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, etc.
HONOR 50 Price and Availability
There are four colours: blue, black, pink, and white. Released in June 2021 in China, the price is 2699 yuan (about ₦171,000 in Nigeria) for the 8GB / 128GB model, 2999 yuan (about ₦190,000) for the 8GB / 256GB model, and 3399 yuan (about ₦216,000) for the 12GB / 256GB model.
HONOR also announced the HONOR 50 SE and HONOR 50 Pro at the same time.
