In addition to the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer has a lite version in its luggage. The stripped-down version can not quite keep up in terms of performance but is much cheaper. Even with the cameras, the Huawei P30 Lite does not need to sneak.
While the Huawei P30 Pro is bursting with power, the Huawei P30 Lite tries to score in other ways. The display is a bit smaller, processor and memory are not quite as potent. Nevertheless, it is worth taking a look at the mobile phone, which is available in China as Huawei Nova 4e. Especially with the camera, the manufacturer offers a triple-cam, the photos up to 48 MP quality.

Huawei P30 Lite Quick Review
The Huawei P30 Lite features a 6.15-inch diagonal LCD that resolves to 2,312 x 1,080 pixels. In the ratio of display-to-body, the Lite version comes to 84.1 percent and is thus close to the Huawei P30. A notch in water droplet design provides space for front camera, which allows images with up to 24 MP. The lower edge of the phone is clearer to see than the side and top.
Huawei uses three rear cameras on this lite version. They resolve at 48 MP (wide angle), 8 MP (ultra wide angle, 120 degrees) and 2 MP (for bokeh effects). Various AI modes, a night mode and a double zoom are also included. Selfies are possible with up to 24 MP and offer a bokeh mode if required.
No debating about the Huawei lite devices, its features cannot be compared with the high-end brothers. While the Kirin 980 chipset powers the other P30 flagships, the Huawei P30 Lite contains a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, which we have already seen in the Huawei Mate 20 Lite and Honor 8X. If you compare this with the Huawei P30 (Pro), then that is a considerable downgrade in terms of computing power.
It has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space available. The latter can be expanded via microSD card by up to 512 GB. Here, however, the second SIM slot is occupied.
Android 9 Pie with Huawei’s user interface EMUI version 9.0.1 is preinstalled. The battery has a capacity of 3,340 mAh, which is slightly less than the standard model. It supports 18 watts QuickCharge and USB Type-C. Wireless charging is not supported.
A fingerprint sensor built directly into the display is also missing, this is quite disappointing when you see mid-rangers like Galaxy A70 and A50 built with under display fingerprint scanner. Sadly, the unlocking takes place via fingerprint on the back of the mobile phone.
