iTel A22 Launches with Android Go Edition and Snapdragon SoC

itel Mobile has taken a mainstay as the king of budget smartphones in Nigeria and even Africa extensively. The smartphone brand has launched another entry-level device called the itel A22.

The iTel A22 adds to itel Mobile’s lineup of smartphones that run on the Android Go edition such as the itel A15, itel A32F and itel P32. Interestingly, the OEM takes on the services of Qualcomm as the phone’s chipset maker, thus featuring Snapdragon 210 SoC.

The plastic body that itel A22 presents itself with makes it look inviting. At the top and the bottom of its rear, there are antenna lines which further classify the phone as attractive. More so, there are the Android navigation buttons present on the phone’s bottom bezel.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset sits at the centre of the device to coordinate actions. On this chipset, there’s the Quad core 1.3GHz CPU as well as the Mali-400 GPU. A 1GB RAM works side by side with this chipset to effect decent performance.

Also, Android Oreo Go edition is the software functional on this device. You’ll even be availed 8GB storage to store your music files, videos, photos and documents. From statistics, this storage won’t be enough to carry out these functions, so a microSD card of about 32GB can be used to serve as additional memory space.

Camera duties are taken from the back by a single 5MP camera, and the front by a 2MP shooter. However, both the front and rear are supported by LED flashes. 2G, 3G and 4G LTE sums up the network connectivity of this smartphone. A non-removable 2,400mAh Li-Ion battery serves as the duration stronghold of this device.
