LG K11 Plus is a budget smartphone from the stables of Korean OEM – LG. The smartphone is released as the next in line to the LG K10 (2018) and LG K8 (2018) that were released in the month of May.
It’s a good thing the brand is taking the budget segment seriously as they offer more options to their high-end smartphones like LG G7 ThinQ and LG Q7 which were also launched this year.
LG K11 Plus got launched alongside the LG K11 alpha. The difference between the two can be seen only in the rear camera and memory department. The LG K11 alpha sports 8MP primary camera while LG K11 Plus uses 13MP primary camera. Also, LG K11 alpha just comes in 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM edition while the Plus version does better.

LG K11 Plus Quick Review
MediaTek MT6750 chipset sits under the smartphone’s glass to dictate the flow of operations. It does this with help from an octa-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. The smartphone’s performance is further covered by either a 2GB or 3GB RAM. However, Mali-T860 MP2 coordinates the graphics operations on the device.
Unfortunately, Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS makes the software region. Hope’s not lost as this software can be upgraded to the latest Android OS – Oreo OS. A 32GB internal storage lays in wait for the storage of numerous files. For those that intend storing more files above 32GB over time, a memory card slot is available to increase the memory space.
720 X 1280 pixels resolution ensure that the 5.3-inch IPS glass delivers the good enough viewing experience. Meanwhile, its aspect ratio is 16:9 and its screen-to-body ratio is 69%. The thick bezels found at the top and bottom explain why the display ratio isn’t much.
Selfies are taken with a 5MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size, the same as LG K11 alpha. Photography tasks from the back are handled by a sharp 13MP sensor and a LED flash.
Security wise, a fingerprint sensor is mounted at the back for biometric ID. Lastly, the smartphone’s duration over a lengthy period is all thanks to the non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
