If you had told me last year that foldable smartphones would be a thing in 2019, I would probably have thought you were crazy. In the meantime, I am crazy, because Samsung was one of the first to present its foldable smartphone. The name is not exactly the height of creativity, but well, here it is — the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Aside from the Galaxy Fold, Samsung also recently launched the Galaxy S10 line, consists of three models – the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e.
I will not put more words on it than necessary, so here are the technical specifications of this technological wonder.
Samsung Galaxy Fold Quick Review!
If you keep the Galaxy Fold closed, you have one HD + Super AMOLED screen of 4.6 inches on the outside with a 21:9 aspect ratio. If you flip it open, you’ll see a QXGA + Dynamic AMOLED 7.3-inch display with a 4.2:3 aspect ratio.
More screens also mean more cameras, as it turns out. At the front there is a 10MP selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture, at the back, there are three lenses: an ultra-wide-angle lens of 16MP and F2.2 aperture, a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens of 12MP, both with optical image stabilization. Inside are two additional cameras: a 10MP wide-angle camera with another 8MP depth camera.
In the chipset and storage department, Samsung buries the Snapdragon 855 chipset in this device, we also get 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, that you cannot extend with a memory card for a change. All this is supplied with power with a 4,380mAh battery. I am especially curious about the actual battery life, as two screens will now be supplied with power. Finally, the operating system is logically Android 9.0 Pie.
