TECNO Camon iAce 2 Quick Review
A gradient colour finish is one of the things Camon iAce 2 needed to relay a charming look. You can choose any of the following device’s colour options: Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and City Blue. Then add that to the fact that there’s a dual camera positioned at its rear’s top left corner, the device is appealing for the most.
However, it lacks the fingerprint scanner but not biometrics security as a whole. This is where it gets interesting: A Face Unlock feature powered by AI comes into play. According to TECNO, the Face ID is capable of recognising 228 facial points.
For dimensions, Camon iAce 2 relays 148.3 mm length, 71.9 mm width and 8.5 mm thickness. As a whole, the device weighs 150g which is very light to handle. Who wants a bulky device anyway? In its display arena, 5.5 inches IPS screen works with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The rear camera department is equipped with dual sensors: 13MP and VGA. As the secondary camera, the VGA sensor adds background isolation when bokeh images are taken. Supporting these cameras in low light conditions is a LED flash. At the front, a single 8MP shooter is capable of capturing AI-powered shots.
Storing files is made easy thanks to the 32GB on the smartphone. Meanwhile, Android 8.1 Oreo OS backed with TECNO’s HiOS 4.1 is pre-installed on the device. The hardware segment is headed by the MediaTek Helio A22 and 2GB RAM.
