Toshiba announced the Portege Z30-E, a notebook that is claimed to be present by packing a professional performance with a full-sized port with a thin and durable design.
Being the latest addition offered by Toshiba business PC, Portege Z30-E is made with the priority of mobility and reliability as its core ability to improve business productivity by delivering professional performance for the ever-increasing mobility of workers.
Built to deliver performance and designed for mobile workers, the ultra-light Portege Z30-E offers premium performance in any setting. With a full-size port and features embedded across Toshiba’s business line of products, organizations will have a consistent, compatible and customizable solution across their IT infrastructure.
“Portege Z30-E is developed for mobile businesses, from employees in small to medium-sized companies to large corporate environments, wherever they are,” said Ms Wong Wai Meng, Senior Manager of Product Strategy at Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, Mobile Computing Solutions & Devices Division in a press release.
According to him, with this new addition to the Portege product family, it provides premium performance with comfortable mobility while offering tough security and perfect for today’s workers.”
For its own specifications, this series takes heavyweights of up to 1.2 kg, packed with magnesium frames, a battery life of 18 hours from a single charge, Portege Z30-E also provides comfort to carry.
While the non-reflection HD screen or Full HD screen measures 33.8 cm (13.3 inches) with LED backlights, making the user not glare even when exposed to direct sunlight, the user remains comfortable working anywhere.
The Portege Z30-E offers the latest Intel Core processor with DDR4 RAM (2400MHz). The eighth generation of selected Intel Core processors can make the laptop capable of performing multiple tasks on the move or in the office.
Toshiba Portege Z30-E runs business applications without compromise and with high-performance SSDs in it, which means the user can complete the job quickly and accurately throughout the day.
The device offers a full-size port that can help users stay in touch with their environment. Three USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port make the work split rapidly or presentation material can be displayed with brilliant high resolution. Gigabit LANs make quick access to the local network which means the user can work wirelessly if needed.
Portege Z30-E is designed to accommodate pressure in the professional world and is supported by HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), which is estimated to be used for about 3 years.
Tested by a German independent agency, TUV Rheinland which included a dropped trial, spilt in fluids and pressure tests, users can work with confidence that they are using a powerful device.
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) stores important data securely in the Portg Z30-E local storage. Smartcard and SecurePad options with fingerprint reader mean no one except users can log-in.
The Portege Z30-E setup is made as easy as possible with Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) in it, meaning IT departments can easily update anytime.
Toshiba Portege Z30-E is available in the third quarter of 2018. Actual product features and specifications depend on the model and availability of local markets.
