Vivo iQOO is Officially Released! Equipped with Snapdragon 855 and Three Cameras

A new smartphone brand has launched. It’s called iQOO, and it’s a sub-brand of Vivo, the Chinese device maker owned by BBK Electronics. They announced a new gaming phone known as iQOO in March 2019.

The iQOO, a high-performance mobile phone with a lot of dynamic functions, is equipped with 6.41 Super AMOLED and Snapdragon 855 SoC. It has a side pressure-sensitive Monster Touch game operation button, liquid cooling and exclusive game space tools.

Vivo iQOO Quick Review

The Vivo iQOO features a 6.41-inch full HD + AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The top of the Vivo phone has a drop recess with a selfie. On the front side, the Vivo phone contains only one camera, while the back has three.

At the rear, the Vivo iQOO includes a 13 megapixel Sony IMX263 sensor + 12-megapixel sensor with a f/1.79 aperture + 2-megapixel depth sensor arrangement on the rear panel. On the front, the phone includes a 12-megapixel selfie camera. On the software side, Vivo iQOO runs on Android 9.0 Pie, and Funtouch OS 9 UI.

Overall, Vivo iQOO has high-end specifications for gamers and photographers. The Vivo iQOO is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and steam cooling system.

The phone also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, a 4000mAh battery with 44W Vivo super flash charging fast charging technology, and Vivo claims to charge 50% in 15 minutes.

The Vivo iQOO features a 3D glass construction with an LED strip on the back panel that provides a unique touch to the overall design of the phone. This is done for all variants accepted by iQOO, a top-of-the-line model with 12GB of RAM. The top model or 12GB version of the Vivo iQOO includes a synthetic carbon fibre backing protected by a carbon fibre panel.

The Vivo iQOO is equipped with Monster Touch shoulder buttons that are placed on either side of the phone to provide four-point action for gamers. The phone is also equipped with a steam cooling system, which the company claims can reduce temperatures up to 12 degrees Celsius without compromising overall performance. Vivo iQOO has a variety of Multi-Turbo features to deliver outstanding gaming performance.

Vivo iQOO will provide 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM in four versions. As for the variant, the Vivo iQOO comes in two colours – electric blue and lava orange.
