Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has announced a new CC series mid-range smartphone “Xiaomi Mi CC9” in China. This smartphone was launched alongside the lower model “Xiaomi Mi CC9e” with Snapdragon 665.
The Mi CC9 and CC9e are the first products of Xiaomi’s cooperation with Meitu, a smartphone brand that was focused on selfies, and which it acquired. In fact, there’s information to be a special Meitu edition of the CC9 series.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 is a mid-range class Android smartphone with 6.39 inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) display, CPU is Snapdragon 710 SDM 710 2.2 GHz Octa core, 6GB / 8GB RAM, storage capacity is 64GB / 128GB, main camera is 48 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 2 megapixels.
It is a smartphone that will be the first in this new series of Xiaomi. The display is an AMOLED and has a fingerprint authentication sensor inside the screen. The connection port is compatible with USB Type-C and Hi-Res, and there is the availability of an earphone jack.
The 4030 mAh battery supports quick charge (QC4), this enormous battery size doesn’t tell on the overall weight which is reduced to 179 grams.
The Mi CC9 is equipped with a triple camera setup at the rear. It comprises of a 48 megapixels (main Sony sensor F / 1.79) + 8 megapixels (super wide-angle F / 2.2) + 2 megapixels (depth sensor F / 2.4). Adding to this, selfies are well taken by the 32MP lens embedded in the u-shaped notch of the phone.
