Xiaomi is out with another splendid smartphone called the Xiaomi Redmi 9 – the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Redmi 8. The Xiaomi Redmi 9 is loaded with everything you need for your viewing pleasure. First, there’s a giant 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that uses 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution for clarity of texts, inputs and graphics. Also, it has a screen-to-body ratio of 89% and 19.5:9 aspect ratio which offers enormous screen estate for your entertainment.
Speaking of entertainment, you can store several offline movies and videos on the phone’s 32GB internal storage. If you want more storage, you can go for the 64GB variant of the smartphone. Either way, you can extend the storage of the phone through the use of a MicroSDXC card.
Another memory element on the smartphone is the 3GB or 4GB RAM depending on the storage variant purchased. This RAM, in combination with the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, takes care of multitasking actions on the phone. The phone is also equipped with Android 10 and MIUI 12 to deliver smooth software functions that flow with the chipset’s operations.
Segueing, the phone’s photography rests on the shoulders of the quad rear cameras and front camera. The rear cameras are made up of 13MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. On the other hand, an 8MP sensor graces the device’s fore.
