Apple Releases iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max with 5G Support and Larger Sizes

Apart from launching the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini, Apple certainly did not miss announcing the highest variants of their iPhone 12 Series, namely the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. This implies that Apple officially announced four new smartphones this year.

iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max Features

The iPhone 12 Pro is known to come with a 6.1-inch screen while the 12 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen. This increase from the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch sizes of the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max makes users who want to have a bigger iPhone screen happy.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t present a 120Hz screen on this smartphone as previously circulated rumours. It seems that Apple is sacrificing more than a 120Hz screen to bring 5G support this year. Apple also hasn’t dared to introduce fingerprint technology under the screen and still relies on Face ID as a security system on this smartphone.

Because it has a bigger screen, the resolution presented is also increased of which the iPhone 12 Pro comes with a resolution of 1,170 x 2,532 pixels and 12 Pro Max has a resolution of 1,284 x 2,778 pixels. Both of them are also equipped with Apple’s newest glass called Ceramic Shield made by Corning.

Using the design language of the old iPhone 5, the smartphone equipped with the Apple A14 Bionic chipset comes with a number of colour variants such as Gold, Gray, Silver, and a new colour, namely Pacific Blue which looks very cool.

Entering the camera section, Apple still presents a triple rear camera setup but with different specifications, they are 12MP Wide, 12MP Telephoto, and 12MP Ultrawide. Then there is also a LiDAR sensor that functions to help AR applications display content more realistically.
