On September 7, 2022, Apple announced the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display. This device comes as the larger variant of the iPhone 14 Pro and it’s the successor to last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Features
iPhone 14 Pro Max is a high-end smartphone that is equipped with a 6.7-inch (1290 x 2796) LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display, Apple A16 Bionic chip hexacore CPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB storage capacity, dual 12 megapixels + SL 3D selfie camera and a triple main camera comprising 48 megapixels + 12 megapixels + 12 megapixels + LiDAR scanner.
The notch has been abolished on the latest Apple iPhone and a new function called “Dynamic Island” with various notifications and alarms has been added to the oval opening around the selfie camera. The main camera was altered from 12 megapixels on the iPhone 13 Pro Max to 48 megapixels, and the CPU has also changed from Apple A15 to Apple A16 Bionic. Crash Detection and emergency SOS notification function (USA) via satellite communication have also been introduced.
This device is fitted with an OLED display that has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, it’s Apple Pay (Felica NFC) compatible, and the connection port is the classic Lightning connector. In terms of security, biometric authentication supports Face ID (face authentication), uses a stereo speaker, and there is no home button and headphone jack. The iPhone 14 Pro charging supports up to 15W MagSafe wireless charging that can be detached using magnetic force and Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W.
It supports a 5G (sub-6) network, Dual SIM (Nano-SIM and eSIM) or Dual eSIM is available for the international market, Dual eSIM with multiple numbers is exclusive for the USA and Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) is available in the Chinese market.
Announced at the same time are the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus, Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) and AirPods Pro (2nd generation).
