If you’ve ever found yourself in a position where you need to check the balance of your GTBank account but don’t know how to go about it, then this article is what you’ve been looking for. Without further ado, let’s jump right into it… Here are 4 ways to check your GTBank account balance quickly.

4 Ways to Check Your GTBank Account Balance

There’s no need to wait in long queues at the bank or ATM anymore; knowing your account balance is now easy because GTBank now has a mobile USSD code that allows you to do this directly on your phone. Aside from that, you could also opt for the other methods, which are going to be explained in this article as well.

Method 1: USSD Code

GTBank USSD Code is one of the quickest ways to carry out banking transactions today. You can use this code to perform complex banking transactions such as balance inquiries, money transfers, airtime recharges, bill payments, and a lot more. To check your bank account balance, here’s the USSD code for that.

To check the GTbank account balance on a mobile phone…

  • Navigate to the phone’s dial button, then dial *737*6*1# >> Enter 1 for account balance >> then input the last 4 digits of your debit card number >> your bank account balance will be displayed right away.

NOTE: ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU’RE DIALING THE CODE FROM THE MOBILE NETWORK REGISTERED AND ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR GTBANK ACCOUNT.

If you are new to USSD banking or the bank has refused to work for you, then I suggest you register your line by dialling *737# to start using USSD banking. If for any reason you still can’t use this code on your phone, you should reach out for support by visiting the bank customer care unit for assistance.

Method 2: Mobile App

Just like USSD banking, the GTBank mobile application works quite similarly but with more features that help you manage and control your bank account. On this app, you can also carry out various kinds of transactions, such as paying utility bills, recharging cable TV, checking account balances, etc.

  • The first step is to download and install the GTBank mobile application on your preferred device. Kindly use the buttons below to get started.

You could also request, confirm and stop cheques, and also pay for your US Visa fee.
