Earlier, Xiaomi was known to have introduced its newest Android operating system, MIUI 12, which came with various new features in China. But now they are preparing to release MIUI 12 globally throughout the world.
As information, MIUI 12 itself comes with various new features ranging from new animation effects and also Dark Mode 2.0 which is now more integrated into Android applications. You can see the full features of MIUI 12 below.
MIUI 12 Features
Dark Mode 2.0
Xiaomi is known to feature Dark Mode 2.0, which presents a variety of new features in dark mode. Although initially dark mode already exists in MIUI 11, Dark Mode 2.0 is said to present a better dark mode experience.
More Minimalist Design
It is known that Xiaomi will present a more minimalist but unique design in the MIUI 12 operating system. The most striking design changes will be in the Settings section.
Alongside a cleaner UI, the latest iteration of MIUI also offers a more visual context for certain elements in the settings. So now, when a user goes into the settings and looks up for say, battery status, or storage availability, they get better context with the information presented in the form of charts and graphs to make the data easier to comprehend.
Presence of Super Wallpaper
Super Wallpaper is another name for Live Wallpaper that allows users to use animated wallpapers. This feature is arguably similar to that of the current Samsung flagship phone.
Presents New UI Animation
It is known that there will be an animation change in MIUI 12. In addition, the animation presented is also claimed to be smoother so there is no glitch or lag when using gestures with animation.
Well, Xiaomi plans to start launching the beta update MIUI 12 globally starting next week, following the MIUI 12 distribution schedule:
