Vivo Releases the Latest iQOO Pro Gaming Smartphone with Snapdragon 855+

Vivo officially released its newest gaming smartphones Vivo iQOO Pro which comes in two variants, namely 4G LTE and 5G. These smartphones are direct successors to the Vivo iQOO released earlier this year.

The two variants are actually identical in terms of design and specifications. The only difference lies in the connectivity support that is carried.

Features (Quick Review)

Vivo iQOO Pro has a Super AMOLED panel with a screen size of 6.4 inches Full HD Plus resolution. The screen carries a thin bezel design like today’s smartphones. Above it is a waterdrop design notch as a 12MP selfie camera container.

Vivo iQOO Pro relies on a configuration of three rear cameras for photographic performance. Each camera has a resolution of 48MP (main), 13MP (ultrawide), and 2MP (depth sensor).

For the chipset, the Vivo iQOO Pro carries the most advanced chipset from Qualcomm specifically designed for gaming smartphones, the Snapdragon 855+. The chipset is also used in gaming smartphones such as the ASUS ROG Phone II and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro.

On the Vivo iQOO Pro, this sophisticated chipset is integrated with 8GB / 12GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB internal memory variants. Scroll down to the Price and Availability section to see how these ROMs and RAMs were distributed on the 4G LTE and 5G variants.

Other features on this gaming smartphone include a fingerprint scanner that is embedded in the screen (in-display) and a 4500mAh jumbo battery that already supports 45-watt super-fast charging.

The iQOO Pro launched August 2019, it is available in colours — Blue and Black. You can order the phone from the following online shopping markets using any of the links below.

The Vivo iQOO Pro 4G LTE and 5G has five basic models;

• iQOO Pro 4G 8GB RAM / 128GB ROM is priced at 3,198 yuan (equivalent to ₦161,000 naira)
• iQOO Pro 4G 12GB RAM / 128GB ROM is priced at 3,498 yuan (equivalent to ₦177,000 naira)
• iQOO Pro 5G 8GB RAM / 128GB ROM is priced at 3,798 yuan (equivalent to ₦192,000 naira)
• iQOO Pro 5G 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM is priced at 3,998 yuan (equivalent to ₦202,000 naira)

Vivo iQOO Pro 4G LTE variant will be marketed in China from 30 August 2019, while the 5G variant will be released on 2 September.
