HMD Global Unveils Budget Nokia 3.2 With 4K Battery and Dedicated AI Button

Nokia is back and is back for good. Ever since their Android resurgence under HMD Global, the brand has shown no sign of stooping low for any competitor. At MWC, the company announced a truckload of smartphones which included Nokia 3.2.

The Nokia 3.2 is a budget as you can ever think. It is the update to last year’s Nokia 3.1. It continues the Nokia 3 series that started in 2017 with Nokia 3. Upgraded design, OS and features are what this new smartphone offers anew.

Nokia 3.2 Quick Review

HMD implements the swanky teardrop notch to give the Nokia 3.2 a classy look. As compact as the notch appears, so also does the phone appear. Round corners, sleek furnishing and minimal bezels accentuate the phone’s beauty. Around the back, a camera setup involving a single 13MP sensor and LED flash is placed above the fingerprint reader.

Of all the budget smartphones unveiled by HMD, this smartphone has the largest screen. The display entities of the smartphone are 6.26 inches IPS LCD touchscreen, 720 x 1520 pixels, 269PPI pixel density, 19:9 aspect ratio and 80.5% screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone boasts of nice features such as Dark mode, adaptive battery, digital wellness and all due to the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS. This year, it’s incredible to see more smartphones coming out with the latest Android software. To make things juicier, the OS is in the purest form, that is, Android One. In other words, you’ll be getting the full uninterrupted Android experience from Google.

Meanwhile, there’s a button on the left side of the smartphone that’s neither for power nor volume adjustment. This hardware button is precisely for Google Assistant. It is similar to the Bixby button found in the Samsung Galaxy S10. Only one press of the button activates the Google Assistant.

Also, the phone sports 4,000mAh battery that lasts for two days. Its rapid charging nature is based on the availability of Fast Charge 10W. Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 with Quad-core 1.8GHz CPU functions as the heart of the phone. Lastly, the phone exists in two memory variance: 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage while the other’s 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
