Land Rover Explore smartphones are now available in the European market. This formidable handset is made by the company behind the CAT phone but is called a unique extension system.
In the UK, the official Land Rover Explore site and Clove online store offer the smartphone at a price of 599 pounds (approximately N285k in Nigeria).
The price is included with the Adventure Pack which is usually worth 100 pounds (approximately N45k), but as long as supplies are still there.
In Germany, Saturn, Cyberport and NotebooksBilliger online stores offer Land Rover Explore for 649 euros, also equipped with a free Adventure Pack.
The Adventure Pack includes an additional 3600mAh battery with a 25mm GPS antenna that offers much better reception and signal accuracy, as well as a sturdy casing that has a carabiner on its back.
Citing GSM Arena, Land Rover Explore was first introduced at the ISPO outdoor and sports outdoor exhibition in Munich, Germany, and re-showcased in a 2018 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, in February.
This smartphone has a 5 inch LCD screen with Full HD resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and has pocketed antidebu and IP68 antiair certification.
It runs on Android Nougat operating system, Land Rover Explore is equipped with MediaTek Helio X27 deca-core 2.6GHz chipset combined with 4GB of RAM 64GB ROM memory. This powerful device has also been equipped with a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
