Samsung has kicked off 2018 with the Galaxy A8+ (2018) which is expected to launch on January 20. The device has already been made available to Vietnam and some countries in the European Union. The Samsung Galaxy A8+ spots an infinity display and features a front dual-cam setup.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus has a 6in Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio (just like the TECNO Camon CM) and HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2220px. The use of a Super AMOLED screen ensures good viewing angles and unsaturated colour. Samsung branding can be found below the fingerprint scanner which is rear-mounted. The almost bezeless display also uses On screen navigation buttons.

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ uses the Exynos 7885 which has 2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. This device comes with a 4GB/32GB model and a 6GB/64GB model. Samsung Galaxy A8+ ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is equipped with a 16MP rear camera and a 16MP+ 8MP selfie camera.
The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and uses micro USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. The phone comes with single and dual-SIM options. It supports 4G on both sims and has a dedicated microSD card.
