The Redmi A series is the most affordable lineup of the Xiaomi brand. As you’d expect, the new Xiaomi Redmi 7A meets up expectations. It serves as the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 6A launched last year. Instead of an increased price tag, the Redmi 7A comes out at the same price as the former.

Xiaomi Redmi 7A Features (Preview)
The Chinese maker ensured that this smartphone is covered with a polycarbonate shell and matte finish that makes the device appear cool from the back. More so, there’s a p2i coating that grants splash resistance. Notably, no fingerprint sensor is present on the smartphone but there’s Face Unlock to make up for it.
Taking charge of the Facial Detection is the 5MP front camera. It also captures videos of 1080p resolution at 30fps frame rate. The standard version of the smartphone is equipped with a 12MP rear camera with LED support. However, the Chinese version takes snapshots and videos with a 13MP rear shooter.
You can watch 720p movies smoothly on the phone thanks to the HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels of the smartphone’s display. The touchscreen is sized at 5.45 inches which is pretty modest for the price tag.
According to Redmi, the phone can work for 2 days on average usage due to the 4,000mAh battery. An improved 10W Fast Charge allows rapid charging of the device.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC sets the tone for the smooth running of the smartphone. It teams up well with a 2GB RAM for multitasking duties. Also, the storage partition is in variants of 16GB and 32GB.
