To oust the “notch or no notch” argument, ZTE introduces the flashy ZTE Nubia Z20 with dual displays. We know there are different reactions about the notch cutouts in smartphones. But one thing that everyone loves is massive screen estate, and ZTE has got that solved here.
The ZTE Nubia Z20 also comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, a chipset geared towards immersive gaming. In other words, the ZTE Nubia Z20 ticks as a gaming-focused device.

ZTE Nubia Z20 Preview (Features)
Starting off with the design, the two displays found on the ZTE Nubia Z20 plays a huge role in its sleekness and compactness. Asides from the notch absence, the bezels on the main 6.42-inch AMOLED display are super slim. Turning to the rear 5.1-inch display, there’s practically no bezel which is unsurprising. However, there are three cameras arranged horizontally alongside a LED flash.
Also, an earpiece is available at the back making calls from there highly possible. As there’s no selfie camera, the main cameras are what capture your selfies. Hence, the main function of the back display is to serve as a viewfinder for images. Meanwhile, the specs of the triple cameras are 48MP with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens and 16MP ultra-wide shooters.
Resolutions for both displays are 1080 x 2340 pixels each, so no worries about the display qualities. There’s the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass on both displays to serve protective functions. It is important to note that there are dual fingerprint sensors on the sides of the smartphone. So, you can use either your left or right finger to unlock the smartphone smoothly.
Moving on, the hardware sector is primarily governed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The chipset offers a faster GPU for gaming graphics and all. It also consists of the octa-core CPU with a max speed of 2.96GHz. In line with the processor functions, there’s either a 6GB or 8GB RAM onboard. Internal storage varies between 128GB and 512GB.
Android 9.0 Pie OS with Nubia UI 7 runs as the software of the smartphone. The battery section is highlighted by the large 4,000mAh battery together with Fast Charging 27W and USB Power Delivery 2.0.
