4G LTE networks have circulated in the major cities of the country and gradually spreading. In this post, I will share with you the 4G LTE band frequencies of the major networks in Nigeria.

This post will help those who want to purchase a 4G enabled phone, tablets, MiFi, Modems etc. Before you buy a phone, modem or MiFi in Nigeria, you have to be utterly sure that your network supports the band on that device.

Uses FDD-LTE, Band 28 which will most likely be compatible with Glo.

Your phone must support a particular network’s band for it to work. There’s absolutely nothing you can do if it doesn’t support it, however, you can buy other devices that can work well with Airtel 4G.

This article is very helpful. i purchased a 4G LTE router without taking into consideration this bands. Now, I notice some 4G LTE network dont display on it. I had to order for another relying on the sales rep to tell me if it supports all network 4G. Guess they too dont even know.

God bless you for this info.

    Hi,
I use to see something like ”band 28A”, is it the same thing with band 28(700MHz) or band 28A is different.
