AnTuTu re-released the list of fastest smartphones. The benchmarking application tests at least 100 smartphone models and select them into the top 10 lists.
This list is compiled based on AnTuTu benchmark scores tested between 1-30 April 2019. Of the 10 smartphones listed, Chinese vendors appear to dominate, especially Xiaomi, which fills the top three positions.
Quoting Gizmochina, at the top of the standings is the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition which records AnTuTu’s benchmark score of 373,715 points. The ‘brother’, Mi 9, followed in second place with 373,511 points. After that, there is the Black Shark 2 – a gaming smartphone made by Xiaomi – with 371,837 points.
In general, the smartphone in the list is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is the fastest System-on-Chip (SoC) at the moment.
In addition to the Xiaomi trio, Meizu 16s and IQOO (sub-brand Vivo) that sit fourth and fifth respectively are also relying on Snapdragon 855.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s two new flagships, the Galaxy S10 Plus and the Galaxy S10 each appeared in the sixth and seventh with a slight difference. Almost no difference in performance at all between the two devices.
Vivo IQOO, Red Nubia Mars, and Honor V20 fill the remaining three positions.
