Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 line consists of three models – They include, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e. Our eye was especially on the Galaxy S10 +, which seems to be the new flagship of Samsung. We can see this, among other things, at the price tag for the most expensive model of this, which is at €1,599 (around N656,000 naira), with which it immediately comes into the water of the new iPhones.
Just like rumours circulating before the official launch party, the Galaxy S10 Plus is the biggest of the three models and definitely lives up to the hype. The Galaxy S10 + is also Samsung’s first smartphone that has two front cameras. Together with the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10 + is also a marker of the implementation of three rear cameras in the Galaxy S series.

For the Galaxy S10 +, Samsung equipped it with a larger screen, the 6.4-inch Curved Dynamic AMOLED Quad HD + resolution (3040 x 1440 pixels) and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. This screen has also been coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
One of the functions that have waited for a long time is Digital Wellbeing. With the launch of Android 9.0 Pie, this feature suddenly appeared. Google indicated that it is important to pay attention to the digital well-being of its users. A good point, as far as I am concerned. More and more time is spent on a smartphone, sometimes even without users noticing this themselves. With the Digital Wellbeing app, you can clearly see how many hours you already have on your phone. You can also set maximum operating hours for apps, and there is a “Wind down mode” to get you off your phone. Samsung S10 + and S10 now brings its own version of that, since Google’s own Digital Wellbeing now seems to be limited to Android One devices.
The Galaxy S10 + also has three rear cameras just like then S10 variant, each with 12MP resolution (wide), 12MP (telephoto), and 16MP (ultra wide). While the front camera has two with 10MP and 8MP resolution.
Samsung also embeds the Galaxy S10 + with the Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 chipset depending on the marketing region. As for storage, there are three choices of RAM and internal memory available, they are – 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB. Similar to the Galaxy S10, this model can also add up to 512GB of external memory via a microSD card slot.
Samsung also unpacks with a fingerprint scanner in the screen and the possibility to transform the S10 + into a wireless Qi charger, with which other smartphones can be charged wirelessly. This may be familiar because Huawei introduced the same function last year in his Mate 20 Pro.
The Galaxy S10 + alongside Galaxy S10 comes with advanced hardware like the vapour chamber cooling system that prevents the device from overheating and becoming sluggish, AI-based performance improvements, and a GPU optimized to ensure smooth gameplay. Plus, the long-lasting 4100mAh battery means you can worry less about power mid-game. The S10 and S10+ also support the wireless powershare that allows you to charge up other devices with the wireless charging feature.
The Galaxy S10+ comes with six innovative prismatic colours, they are — Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Ceramic White and Ceramic black (Ceramic version only available on 8GB/512GB and 12GB/1TB Galaxy S10+ models).
