How To Check Ecobank Account Number On Your Phone

This post contains how to check Ecobank account number directly on your mobile phone easily via Ecobank USSD, mobile app, ATM or SMS method.

Today, I will be sharing how to check Ecobank account number on your mobile phone. It doesn’t need an internet connection to work. So, you can use a feature phone to check your Ecobank account number. And it works perfectly on all network in Nigeria (Airtel, Glo, 9Mobile, MTN etc).

How To Check Ecobank Account Number On Your Phone

1. USSD Code Method:

To get or know your Ecobank account number, there are various reliable methods out there but let’s start with the USSD code method since this article focuses on showing you how to acquire this account number without stepping out of your house.

To know your Ecobank account number via USSD;

Simply dial *326*0# >> Input your 4 digit authentication PIN >> Wait for your account number and balance.

For first-timers, you must first register to use the Ecobank USSD code by dialling *326# >> dial 2 to activate USSD banking >> follow the prompt thereafter.

Make sure you have an existing ATM card linked with your bank account before doing this.

2. Mobile Banking App Method:

This is another cool way to reveal your Ecobank account number for those looking to know. But before getting started, you should have active mobile app banking strictly available to smartphones users.

3. ATM Method

This third step requires an ATM (Automated Teller Machine) to work. The ATM doesn’t only provide cash withdrawal services, there are others and one of those is checking your account number. To do this, all you need to do is, follow the steps below.

Visit the nearest ATM >> Enter your ATM card PIN >> Select More Services >> Account Number.

4. SMS Method:

Send “Nuban [account number]” to 0806ECOBANK (08063262265) from your registered phone number with the Bank. For example, text NUBAN to 08063262265, you will receive a message showing your account number.

Make sure the phone number you’re checking your ecobank account number with is registered or associated with the account.
